I love you for who I’ve come to see plastered on my computer screen. I feel I know you even though we’ve never met It’s easy to know how you feel but it’s the thought of not knowing how the other person feels that makes one anxious and feel uprooted. The poet seems to be in such a turmoil! But the truth is most poets of long distance love poems are. Now that’s what I call the power of words! This is why I say long distance love poems have a unique and powerful way to convey a deep meaning with minimum number of words but maximum impact! Your heart knows what it wants but it’s the distance that makes the mind anxious of how things will turn out to be. The destination of love does seem far and hazy when lovers are separated by distance.

That’s a positive note! Yes, there is distance but true love transcends beyond physical distance and remains connected no matter what and where the lovers may be.
